Disability Justice Network of Ontario (DJNO)
DJNO’s vision is to create a world where disabled people are free to be and they aim to build a just and accessible Ontario, wherein disabled people; have personal and political agency, can thrive and foster community, and build the power, capacity, and skills needed to hold people, communities, and institutions responsible for the spaces they create.
Migrants Resource Centre Canada (MRCC)
MRCC aims to improve the lives of migrant and immigrant workers by advancing their rights and dignity while working and living in Canada. MRCC upholds migrant workers as key actors in the pursuit of this goal, its role is to assist in capacity building and cooperative action towards full participation into Canadian society.
Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI)
OCASI was formed in 1978, and acts as a collective voice for immigrant and refugee-serving agencies and coordinates responses to shared needs and concerns. OCASI is a registered charity governed by a volunteer board of directors. Its membership is comprised of more than 250 community-based organizations in the province of Ontario.
Home Care Workers Co-Operative (HCWC)
HCWC is a woman only run and operated worker coop that puts people over profit. Period. As a not for profit worker coop, quality care for clients, and fairly compensated meaningful work for PSWs is their motivation.
Cooperative Care Alliance (CCA)
The CCA is a Canadian network that aims to revolutionize home care through local care co-operatives led by compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
Age friendly Peterborough (AFP)
AFP is a network of people, organizations, and local businesses working together to make the Peterborough community a great place to grow older. We focus on what matters most to older adults—meeting basic needs, getting around safely, staying connected and having chances to learn, grow and help others.
